Golf Cart Rear Axles
While replacing a golf cart rear axle isn?t exactly fun, it may become necessary at some point. Most people don?t inspect the axles on their golf carts with any regularity, but there are signs that yours may need replacing. For example, if the rear of the cart starts to make noise when driving, this could be the cause. Since the rear axle drives the rear wheels and is used to select reverse and even forward, this isn?t something you can put off replacing. If you are hearing excessive noise or if you have difficulty moving your cart in one direction or another, it may be time to replace the rear axle. This would also be a good time to check the suspension system as well as your front axle, especially if your golf cart is several years old.
